All sessions are conducted virtually through a secure video conferencing platform. This allows you take advantage of your own home's convenience and emotional safety—without the travel! Note: due to psychotherapist licensing regulations, you must be located in the state of California in order to receive services if you are a U.S. resident.

At this time, I accept Aetna insurance and their related insurance plans. To verify your eligibility, please contact me.
For all other insurances, I am out-of-network. Some insurance plans, like many PPOs, offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers. If this applies to you, you can choose to pay for therapy sessions out-of-pocket and then submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement. I can provide you with superbills for this process. Please be sure to verify your out-of-network benefits and deductible with your insurance provider first.

Individual therapy, out-of-network (50 minutes): $225 - $250 per session
Individual therapy, through Aetna insurance (53-60 minutes): the amount you will pay depends on your insurance plan's co-pay and deductible. Contact Kat to verify your Aetna insurance benefits.
EMDR Intensive (3-Hour Sessions over 3 Days): $1,350 flat fee (payment plans available)

Weekly sessions (or, on a case-by-case basis, biweekly which is every other week) tend to work well for most clients that I work with and the mental health challenges they are experiencing. In some cases, meeting more frequently may be warranted. In every case, I work with each person to set up an approach that fits their needs and schedule.

It’s natural to experience mixed emotions when you’re first starting out in therapy, including nervousness, excitement, or worry. But that’s why I’m here to guide you! We’ll meet on a secure video conferencing platform. Our first few sessions are often spent getting to know each other, including your challenges, history and background, and preferences for therapy. You are welcome to share anything that you feel comfortable sharing. You may also have questions for me. As we work together, we’ll go deep. I may share observations and insights to help you get what you need out of therapy.
