Compassionate Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma, and Burnout

You’ve mastered the art of doing and achieving, but ease still feels out of reach. Together, we gently untangle patterns of perfectionism, worry, and overfunctioning so you can move through life with more clarity and self-trust.

Feel like yourself again, in your relationships and your life.

This is therapy for growing with intention.

You’re thoughtful, self-aware, and engaged with your life. On the outside, things may be working, but internally, you might feel tense, overwhelmed, or harder on yourself than you’d like to be.

You’ve learned how to keep going, to show up for others, to hold it all together. But these patterns can become exhausting, especially when they’re shaped by anxiety, past trauma, or a quiet sense that you always have to do more.

There’s nothing wrong with you. You’re simply ready for something different: more ease, more clarity, and a way of moving through life that actually feels like you.

If this feels familiar, you’re in the right place.

You may be experiencing…

  • Anxiety that’s hard to turn off, even when things seem “fine”

  • Past experiences or trauma that still shape how you think, feel, or relate

  • Feeling on edge, overwhelmed, or stuck in your head

Anxiety, Trauma, or Emotional Overwhelm

  • High standards that leave you feeling exhausted or never “enough”

  • Chronic stress or difficulty slowing down

  • A tendency to overthink, overfunction, or second-guess yourself

Perfectionism, Burnout, and Self-Doubt

A Desire for More Fulfulling Relationships and Personal Growth
  • Feeling stuck in old patterns of people-pleasing

  • Trying to understand yourself, your upbringing, or how to thrive as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)

  • A lingering sense that you’ve outgrown parts of your life and are ready for something different

Hi, I’m Kat.

I’m an Asian American therapist who works with thoughtful, sensitive people who are used to holding a lot—internally and in their lives. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the corporate world, so I understand the pressure to perform, achieve, and hold it all together from the inside.

As a therapist, my style is warm and down-to-earth. I’m not the kind of therapist who sits back silently, but someone who helps you make sense of things in a real, human way. Together, we sort through your emotions, catch your blind spots (we all have them!), and gently work with the patterns you’ve learned to cope using evidence-based approaches like EMDR and somatic therapy that help create change at a deeper level.

Over time, this work helps you feel more like yourself again: more at ease, more secure in your relationships, and more grounded in who you are and what you want.

I'm so glad you're here.
